About Me
I have been involved in working with new parents for over ten years. Before this, I worked within the Financial Services industry, but always had a keen interest in anatomy and physiology, labour and birth. It was following the birth of my first child, and returning to work from maternity leave, that I decided to embark upon a total change of career.

I subsequently retrained and became a qualified antenatal teacher and I now work for a well known charity. This is such a rewarding role and over the years, I have met and worked with over three hundred couples/parents. Through my teaching, I have come to realise the importance of encouraging and creating strong support networks during the postnatal period. Often, parents may be new to the area and this can prove difficult for them.
